There are a lot of Irish people in Chicago. That fact is made obvious by the large number of Irish pubs in the area.
As much as the Irish like to sing, they have been pretty much ignored by the companies that produce karaoke music. Sure you can find, Danny Boy and Whiskey In The Jar, but not much more.
A.S.A.P. Entertainment started producing, “Irish Karaoke” in 2001. We now have hundreds of karaoke songs that were previously un-available.
Our collection includes artists such as, Christey Moore, Paddy Reilly, The Wolfe
Tones, SawDoctors, The Fureys, Goats Don’t Shave, The Pogues & many, many
more.
The local favorite “The Southside Irish” has never been produced for karaoke. We sought the assistance of a recording company in California. They brought musicians into the studio and recorded this Paddy’s Day favorite without the vocals and added text for sing along. We are the only company that offers The Southside Irish for karaoke.
